Baseball Recap: Beech Grove Comes Up Short

Beech Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 5-0 to the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins. The game marked the first time this season in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Beech Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bishop Moore, who went 1-for-4 with one triple.

Beech Grove's loss dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for Tri-West Hendricks, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

While Beech Grove had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
