Softball Recap: Skyline Falls to Sylvan-Lucas in First Game of Season

Skyline had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 10-2 to the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Skyline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kory Anschutz, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Skyline beat Sylvan-Lucas by a score of 11-10 later that day.
