Softball Recap: Woodland Wildcats vs. Cartersville Hurricanes
Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cartersville Hurricanes. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cartersville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodland will face off against Dalton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cartersville, they will square off against Southeast Whitfield County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cartersville is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
