Basketball Recap: Pella Comes Up Short

Pella was the 71-50 winner over Grand View Christian when they last played one another back in November of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Pella Dutch fell just short of the Grand View Christian Thunder by a score of 56-53 on Thursday. The Dutch were up 33-18 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Pella now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Grand View Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Pella will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Fort Madison at 3:30 p.m. As for Grand View Christian, they and South Hamilton will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
