Football Recap: Calvert Hall Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Gilman

Calvert Hall faced Gilman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cardinals took a 13-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Calvert Hall and nudges their season record down to 4-4. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 27 points in those games. As for Gilman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.
