Softball Recap: Ephrata Comes Up Short

Ephrata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-2 to the Eastmont Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on Thursday.

Ephrata's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eastmont, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coincidentally, Ephrata and Eastmont will both be playing Wenatchee the next time they take the field. Ephrata will head out to face Wenatchee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Eastmont will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
