The Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grace Christian Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Wesleyan Christian Academy posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They blew past Calvary Day School 73-13 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-9.

Wesleyan Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kennedy Jackson led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and five blocks. That's the first time this season that Jackson posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Taylor Hawley, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 85-44 victory over Terry Sanford. Grace Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win makes it two in a row for Wesleyan Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 15-7. As for Grace Christian, they pushed their record up to 18-0 with that win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Wesleyan Christian Academy came up short against Grace Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2022, falling 65-53. Thankfully for Wesleyan Christian Academy, Lara Lieckfield (who scored 13 points along with five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
