Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Carroll's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Carroll won the last time they faced Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Chargers put the hurt on the Cadets with a sharp 3-0 win.

Carroll got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 34-32.

Jaydon Capers paced Carroll's offense, picking up 12 kills. Capers got some help from Ethan Nadeau and his 15 assists. Finally, Nadeau was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Carroll has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Carroll will square off against Tournament Opponent at 8:05 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, they will host Fort Wayne Northrop at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
