Softball Game Preview: Williamsburg Blue Pirates vs. Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels

The Williamsburg Blue Pirates are taking a road trip to square off against the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Williamsburg is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against North Star, falling 14-3.

Williamsburg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eleanor Brubaker, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Rylee Stultz was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Moshannon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-8 to Cambria Heights.

Williamsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Moshannon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
