Baseball Recap: Southmoreland Takes a Loss

The Southmoreland Scotties lost 13-3 to the Deer Lakes Lancers on Monday. The Scotties have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southmoreland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Bentz, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Southmoreland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Deer Lakes, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Southmoreland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
