Christ the King is a perfect 7-0 against Cathedral Prep since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Royals will host the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. Christ the King is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Thursday, Christ the King needed a bit of extra time to put away LaSalle Academy. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Cardinals. Those five runs were actually the fewest the Royals have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cathedral Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against LaSalle Academy by a score of 9-5 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Adrian Caban made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. Caban was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Cathedral Prep got a massive performance out of Michael Franco, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The Crusaders are undefeated when Franco posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Noah Caraballo, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Christ the King's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Cathedral Prep, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-7.

Everything went Christ the King's way against Cathedral Prep in their previous meeting last Friday, as Christ the King made off with an 11-4 victory. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
