Soccer Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss

Wayne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Battle Creek Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Battle Creek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in March.

Wayne County's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Battle Creek, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne County will square off against Hickman County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Battle Creek, they will face off against Culleoka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Battle Creek will be up against Culleoka's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.15 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
