Recap: Community Baptist Christian Kings vs. Juniata Christian Eagles
The Community Baptist Christian Kings were the 19-18 winner over the Juniata Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Community Baptist Christian took a 25-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Juniata Christian. Community Baptist Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Katelyn Bonner was Community Baptist Christian's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Community Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Juniata Christian, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.
After both having extra time off, Community Baptist Christian and Springfield Christian Academy will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Springfield Christian Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Juniata Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Varsity Opponent on February 1st.
