Basketball Recap: South Shore Comes Up Short

South Shore came up into this matchup off a tough 41-point defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles by a score of 44-41 on Wednesday. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

South Shore's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lac Courte Oreilles, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Shore will face off against Washburn at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lac Courte Oreilles, they will take on Bayfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bayfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 75.5 points per game this season.
