Basketball Recap: Wellsville Tigers vs. Columbiana Clippers

Wellsville lost against Columbiana back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wellsville Tigers received a blow as they fell 61-46 to the Columbiana Clippers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 565th, while the Clippers are ranked 258th).

Leading Columbiana to victory were Cooper Brown and Seth Struharik. Brown went 6 for 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to six assists and five boards, while Struharik posted 20 points and eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds gave Struharik a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Davanzo, who put up six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
