Woodruff came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 46-37 victory over the Union County Yellowjackets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-44 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Union County lost, don't look at Akeem Shaw. Despite the final result, he posted eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jaden Fleming, who scored six points and four steals.

Woodruff's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Union County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Coming up, Woodruff will take on Mountain View Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
