North Myrtle Beach put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 39-33 victory over the South Florence Bruins. The 39-point effort marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Myrtle Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faith Farmer, who went 7 for 16 on her way to 18 points and three steals. Farmer has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Vereen, who posted five points and eight rebounds.

Allyson Watson and Harmony Bostick certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Watson had 15 points and five steals, while Bostick earned eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Amari Gamble was another key player, putting up a point along with eight boards and five assists.

North Myrtle Beach's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for South Florence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

North Myrtle Beach will face off against Conway at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th. The timing isn't great for Conway: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while North Myrtle Beach has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. As for South Florence, they will challenge Darlington at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
