Softball Recap: Harbor Creek Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Harbor Creek entered their tilt with Fort LeBoeuf on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Bison. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Addison Lucas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brooklynn Cipalla, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Harbor Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Fort LeBoeuf, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harbor Creek will host Titusville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
