Basketball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 64-49 fall against the Dayton Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-58 back in January.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Dayton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Taft the next time they take the court. Jefferson will head out to face Taft at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Dayton will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
