Windham is 8-2 against Lyman Memorial since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Windham Whippets will venture away from home to face off against the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. Windham is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.6 points per game this season.
Windham will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Killingly, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. Windham walked away with a 78-67 win over Killingly on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Whippets.

Malcolm Hunter was his usual excellent self, going 14 of 26 on his way to 39 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anden Gonzalez, who posted 15 points.
Meanwhile, Lyman Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Plainfield.
Windham will have to contain Kevin Botticello as he made an impact in Lyman Memorial's last game. He dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards. Botticello is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Conor Hawkins, who earned ten points.
Windham pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Lyman Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Windham hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62.6 points per game. It's a different story for Lyman Memorial, though, as they've been averaging only 39.9 points. The only thing between Windham and another offensive beatdown is Lyman Memorial. Windham took their win against Lyman Memorial in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 79-55. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Lyman Memorial's Owen Christiansen, who put up 23 points.
