St. Charles North faced Lincoln-Way East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The North Stars walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Griffins. The win was nothing new for the North Stars as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Haley Burgdorf paced St. Charles North's offense, picking up 14 kills. Burgdorf got some help from Mia McCall and her 23 assists.

St. Charles North's victory bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Lincoln-Way East, they moved to 24-8 with that loss, which also ended their 14-match winning streak.
