Baseball Recap: Eagle Grove Takes a Loss

If Eagle Grove was feeling good fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Belmond-Klemme on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell 8-4 to the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears on Monday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Golden Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Eagle Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bishop Garrigan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eagle Grove is set to face off against their familiar foe Lake Mills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Garrigan will take on rival Garner-Hayfield/Ventura at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
