Football Game Preview: Hillcrest Jaguars vs. Bayside Academy Admirals + How To Watch

The Hillcrest Jaguars are taking a road trip to square off against the Bayside Academy Admirals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Hillcrest duked it out with Greenville on Friday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 27-20.

Meanwhile, Bayside Academy came tearing into last Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over the Hurricanes. Considering the Admirals have won four matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hillcrest better keep an eye on Davis Barnett. He was instrumental in Bayside Academy's win, throwing for 353 yards and five TDs while completing 80.8% of his passes. Their leading receiver Walker Collins was Barnett's top target yet again, picking up 136 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Bayside Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Warren Johnson and Caid Lyons.

Hillcrest picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Bayside Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Hillcrest came up short against Bayside Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 28-20. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
