Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Montgomery Catholic walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Moody Blue Devils on Thursday, sneaking past 17-14. The Knights' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The critical scores for Montgomery Catholic came from B.J. Bedgood and Miles Khatri. Giovanni Hayner was another key player, rushing for 126 yards.

Montgomery Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bryce Carter, Rickie Williams, and Charles Chappelle picked up one apiece. Williams also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten.

Montgomery Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Moody, they moved to 11-3 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.
