The team also got some help courtesy of  Justin Sanchez, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 Roosevelt's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Northridge,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-11.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roosevelt beat Northridge by a score of  7-1.
