Highlands's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Mesa Verde Mavericks as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Scots not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 14, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Highlands walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-20.

Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Mesa Verde, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Highlands will be playing in front of their home fans against Chesterton Academy of Sacramento at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mesa Verde, they will head out on the road to square off against Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
