After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Academy of Richmond County, Aquinas was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Fightin' Irish as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-2, 25-12.

Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aquinas will head out to face off against Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greenbrier at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
