Lexington had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-4 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They secured a 14-8 W over the Alliance Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Minutemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Alliance, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

When it comes to explaining why Alliance lost, don't look at Trini Trejo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 144 yards.
