Basketball Recap: North Bend Comes Up Short

North Bend lost against Marist back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The contest between the North Bend Bulldogs and the Marist Spartans didn't end well, with the North Bend Bulldogs falling 58-44. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while the Spartans are ranked 49th).

This is the second loss in a row for North Bend and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Marist, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Bend will take on Marshfield at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Marist, they will head out on the road to take on Cottage Grove at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
