Basketball Recap: Mercersburg Academy Find Success

Mercersburg Academy won the last time they faced Friends' Central and things went their way on Sunday too. The Storm came out on top against Friends' Central by a score of 85-72. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.

Several Friends' Central players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Pat Feamster, who shot 44% from the field en route to 20 points and five boards. Carter Bass was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Mercersburg Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Friends' Central, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Mercersburg Academy will challenge GVCS Broadfording at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Friends' Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-49 defeat against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy on the 25th.
