Softball Recap: Kendrick Takes a Loss

Kendrick lost against Clearwater Valley on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ashna Casto was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Kendrick now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Clearwater Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kendrick is set to take on their familiar foe Potlatch at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clearwater Valley will square off against rival Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Rams' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
