Balko added to the longest winning streak in C District 1 (8 Man) this week by beating Buffalo, 54-8. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Bison.
Waynoka was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Railroaders triumphed over Goodwell/Yarbrough 40-6.
Sharon-Mutual's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cooper Free has thrown for 195 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Ben Cooper has 8 catches for 139 yards. Free also leads the league in rushing with 848 yards.
The marquee game in C District 1 (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Balko and Shattuck. Ronnie Watson's team enters the game ranked 11th in the state, while the Indians ranks ninth.
Shattuck made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 117 from 173. The improvement was largely due to a 56-6 victory over Tyrone last week.
