Baseball Game Preview: Russellville Panthers vs. Caverna Colonels

Russellville hasn't had much luck against Caverna recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Colonels at 6:00 p.m. The last three games Russellville has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Russellville played against Todd County Central on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Caverna is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 19th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They came up short against Clinton County, falling 13-2.

Caverna saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clayton Norris, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. Raif Dennison also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Caverna's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Russellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
