Baseball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Turlock's Winning Streak

Turlock and Rocklin squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Turlock had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since April 8, 2024.

Turlock saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadon Boyer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Turlock moved to 20-7-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak. As for Rocklin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-6.

Turlock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rocklin, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 defeat against Franklin on the 12th.
