Recap: North Broward Prep Eagles vs. American Heritage Patriots
The North Broward Prep Eagles and the American Heritage Patriots squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the North Broward Prep Eagles had to settle for second. They took a serious blow against the Patriots, falling 63-13. North Broward Prep's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Although North Broward Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Tromon Isaac jr. and Anthony Mestre.
American Heritage's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deandre Desinor, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Desinor was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. Another player making a difference was Byron Louis, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns.
North Broward Prep now has a losing record at 5-6. As for American Heritage, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.
North Broward Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. American Heritage will be playing in front of their home fans against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. King's Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
