Baseball Recap: Sonora Takes a Loss

Sonora managed to slip by Bangs the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Sonora Broncos lost 24-1 to the Bangs Dragons on Monday. The Broncos just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Sonora's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bangs, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Sonora will host Mason at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sonora has given up an average of 14.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Bangs, they are taking a road trip to square off against Goldthwaite at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
