If Salem was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of South Lyon East last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rocks took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hartland Eagles on Thursday. The loss put an end to Salem's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Salem fell to 2-1. As for Hartland, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Salem didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Skyline on the 4th. As for Hartland, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Okemos on the 5th.
