Heritage had won three straight  games  and  Jon Mwanda did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Heritage Huskies walked away with  a   53-46  victory over the Knightdale Knights  which was due in part to  Mwanda, who  dropped  a double-double with 27 points and ten  boards. That's the most  rebounds  he has posted since back in January of 2024.
 Another player making a difference was  Ryder Strand, who  put up seven  points in addition to five  boards and three  steals. Strand is  crushing it when it comes to  steals: he's   grabbed at least two every time he's  taken the court this season.
 Knightdale lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Isaiah Green, who  had 14 points and four  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brandon Adams, who  shot 45% from the field to rack up 13  points and five  rebounds.
Heritage's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Knightdale, their defeat  ended  a  13-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 18-7.
 Heritage has already played their next matchup,  a  53-46  victory against Chapel Hill on the 25th. As for Knightdale, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  56-53  loss against Apex Friendship on the 25th.
