King won the last time they faced Ford and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 22-2 win. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by eight runs or more this season.

Tracee Novell was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and four runs. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Grayce Green was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

King is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: King beat the Trojans by a score of 18-0 later that day.
