Softball Recap: West County Wins Going Away Against Grandview

While West County put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Grandview. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Eagles. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

West County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Grandview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Coming up, West County is taking a road trip to face off against Potosi at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Grandview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
