Basketball Game Preview: Sioux City North Stars vs. Le Mars Bulldogs

Sioux City North is 1-9 against Le Mars since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sioux City North Stars will be playing at home against the Le Mars Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sioux City North is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Lincoln on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Sioux City North was beaten by Lincoln 76-37. The game marked the Stars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Le Mars took a blow against Lincoln on Friday, falling 68-37. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-13.

This is the second loss in a row for Le Mars and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Sioux City North, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-6.

Sioux City North didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Le Mars in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 69-64 victory.
