Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atholton). Everything went their way against the Guilford Park Panther on Friday as Atholton made off with a 22-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.
Atholton let William Conroy and Cole Ostrowski run wild. Conroy scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while Ostrowski got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave Conroy a new career-high in RBI (two). Brody Pope was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Atholton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .707. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The victory got Atholton back to even at 2-2.
