Lilly Harper was a major factor in Escondido Charter's win over Tri-City Christian on Tuesday. Harper was dialed in as she struck out eight batters over 8.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She played a big game the last time she faced Tri-City Christian back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming. Harper has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
