The Pueblo Warriors will head out to face off against the Cienega Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Pueblo will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Flowing Wells, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Pueblo blew past Flowing Wells, posting a 72-41 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pueblo to victory, but perhaps none more so than America Cazares, who went 10 of 20 on her way to 24 points and five boards. Cazares' evening made it 18 games in a row in which she has scored at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Asia Clark, who posted 13 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists.
Pueblo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cienega faced off against Desert View on Friday. Cienega blew past Desert View 60-34. With the Bobcats ahead 32-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Cienega found their leader in sophomore Mia Lopez, who went 6 for 7 to rack up 16 points and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for Lopez. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Guevara, who earned 11 points and five rebounds.
Pueblo is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Cienega, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Pueblo has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Cienega struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Pueblo against Cienega in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as the team secured a 63-20 win. In that game, Pueblo amassed a halftime lead of 36-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
