Baseball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short on the Road Against South Beloit

Harvard kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 9-6 to the South Beloit Sobos.

Ryan Bennett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Four bases. while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Logan Nulle was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvard will take on Rockford Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Beloit, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against Orangeville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
