It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but North East ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Fort LeBoeuf Bison 2-1. North East haven't had any issues with Fort LeBoeuf recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

North East's win bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Fort LeBoeuf, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North East will square off against rival Cathedral Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fort LeBoeuf is set to take on their familiar foe Girard at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
