Piscataquis barely beat Bangor Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates' defense stepped up to hand the Patriots a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering Piscataquis have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Piscataquis' victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Bangor Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Piscataquis will square off against Sumner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Piscataquis will be up against Sumner's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bangor Christian, they will challenge Central at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
