Baseball Recap: Hale Ray Comes Up Short

Hale Ray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the North Branford Thunderbirds. The match marked the first time this season in which the Noises were not able to get on the board.

Hale Ray's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for North Branford, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Hale Ray didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-8 defeat against East Hampton on the 29th. As for North Branford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coginchaug Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
