Football Game Preview: Sheffield Bulldogs vs. Colbert County Indians + How To Watch

Sheffield hasn't had much luck against Colbert County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Sheffield came up short against Clements and fell 28-21. Despite 52 more yards than the Colts, the Bulldogs couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Sheffield might have lost, but man, Jaylen Gangar was a machine: he rushed for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colbert County). They blew past Elkmont, posting a 72-19 win. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Colbert County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Ziquwan (Money) Horton, Frank Hayes, and Sylas Quillen picked up one apiece.

Colbert County's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Sheffield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Sheffield suffered a grim 42-21 defeat to Colbert County when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
