Baseball Game Preview: Winfield Warriors vs. St. Clair Bulldogs

The Winfield Warriors will head out to take on the St. Clair Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Winfield can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Friday. They lost 12-4 to Wright City. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Winfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Warren Conrad, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Conrad has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, St. Clair made easy work of Herculaneum on Friday and carried off an 11-1 victory.

Tyler Hawk and Tyler Tomes did most of the damage at the plate: Hawk scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Tomes scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
